Our Story
MoChaiPaws began with two dogs:
Momo, a Golden Retriever.
And Chai, a Border Collie.
“Mo” comes from Momo.
“Chai” comes from Xiangcai — Chai for short.
Before there was a brand, there were two dogs.
Every walk, every ordinary moment — slowly, a life built around them.
We kept finding the same thing: products that felt overly functional, overly trendy — or "matching" products that simply placed a dog illustration on a T-shirt.
We wanted something closer.
Not just matching.
Momo & Chai, where everything started.
For Momo
This year, we said goodbye to Momo.
Losing her left a quiet space in our lives.
But she remains part of everything we do.
And in many ways, MoChaiPaws continues because of her.
For Momo.
For Chai.
And for all the little moments that never feel little once they're gone.
Shared, not matching.
We never wanted products that simply looked matching.
We wanted things that felt shared.
A collar and a bracelet carrying the same details.
A leash and a phone strap connected by the same design language.
A dog toy and a bag charm that somehow belong together.
